Well, it’s really quite simple. Basically, we meet as a group in the shop and work together on the same project. KAL’s are not considered a class therefore there is NOT a designated instructor or teacher and there is no fee.
For some of you, the project might be rather simple while others may find it a bit challenging. You’ll be lending your level of expertise and, by helping your neighbor, you’ll be brushing up your skills or learning from another. Regardless of your skill level*, we can all learn from one another... and keep each other in stitches!
KAL’s are a great experience, especially when you are together in-person vs. over the Internet. Knitting with others who are making the same thing at the same time gives you a central place to knit and a forum where you can ask questions or cheer each other on.
Sounds awesome! Here’s how it works:
1. ALL supplies must be us purchased at Yarning for You. When you register, we'll be happy to help you select a yarn from a wide assortment of colors and fibers.
2. KAL’s are free and open to anyone!
3. Space is limited so registration is a must!
4. This is not a class and no teacher instruction will be given.
5. All KAL’s will be held on dates organized by YFY.
6. We ask that you please adhere to the scheduled dates and times.
*If additional assistance is required, we suggest that you may wish to sign up for a private lesson.)
