PRE-SALE ONLY - Advent boxes will ship in early November.
A White Elephant Gift Exchange is a popular Christmas event where people battle to walk away with the best present. It also goes by Yankee Swap, Dirty Santa, and a plethora of other names. The White Elephant game is played by a lot of different rulesets – some dead simple and others confusingly elaborate.

Each package is purposely wrapped in different packaging to make it appear as if they were all brought to this "party" by a different guest.
Fiber Content: 100% Superwash Merino
Yardage / Weight: 87 yds / 20g per skein, 1,566 yds / 360g total
Weight / Gauge: Fingering / 7-8 sts = 1"
Care: Machine wash cold. Tumble dry low.
The rules of the White Elephant Advent Exchange are as follows:
Day 1: Open a yarn package. Knit or crochet Clue 1.
Day 2: Open a yarn package. Either continue on to Clue 2 or, if you don't like the way it goes next to Day 1's color, put it back and open another before continuing on to Clue 2.
Day 3: Open a yarn package. Either continue on to Clue 3, or, if you don't like the way it goes next to Day 2's color, put it back and either (a) open a new package or (b) choose a color from a previously opened package that you put back.
Continue onward like this. If you get behind, there will be a bag of six "rest day" packages that you may open at any point so you still get a gift, but have a day to catch up on clues you haven't finished yet.
There are 24 days total included.
While the goal is for everyone to have a unique finished object, Forbidden FIber Co. recognizes that some people aren't comfortable making these kinds of color decisions in the moment. They will provide guidance on how to open the packages in the same order the designer used the colors in their original sample.
